The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced the list of election officials responsible for supervising the elections for the state president and National Assembly members. The task has been entrusted to senior leaders and Union Ministers of various states in order to ensure the smooth conduct of institutional elections.

  • Gujarat: Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav
  • Karnataka: Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan
  • Uttar Pradesh: Union Minister Piyush Goyal
  • Bihar: Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar
  • Madhya Pradesh: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan

Organisational timeline

As per the BJP’s constitution, organizational elections must be conducted in 50% of states before the election of the national president. State presidents are expected to be elected by January 15, 2025, as part of this process.
