Amid protests against the rape and murder of a Junior doctor at RG Kar College and Hospital in Kolkata, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee reached Swasthya Bhawan in Kolkata to meet the protesting doctors.
While interacting with junior doctors protesting in front of the state health department headquarters in Salt Lake, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee stated that she will review the doctors’ demands and take action if anyone is found guilty.
“I have spent sleepless nights as you have been protesting on the road amid rains,” she added, PTI reported.
