Demonstration on nutritious dietary habits for people with HIV/AIDS held-OxBig News Network

NTR District Additional Medical Officer J. Usharani took part in a demonstration on nutritious dietary habits, at the Navjeevan Bala Bhavan in Vijayawada, on Tuesday.

In the demonstration held for people with HIV/AIDS, Dr. Usharani pointed out how a person can acquire all the nutrition a body requires from the food one eats, and how it can be prepared at a low cost. Andhra Pradesh AIDS Control Society Cluster programme manager Samson stressed the importance of regular health checks, nutritious food and use of ART medicines. It is important to go for tests every month, he told the people affected by HIV/AIDS. Later, essential items and medicines were distributed.
