IAS officer Mannuamching has been posted as DC of Pherzawl district and incumbent Asish Das has been transferred DC of Ukhrul district. Other transfers include Asish Das, the current DC of Pherzawl, transferred as DC of Ukhrul. Chandel DC Myanaglambam Rajkumar moved as DC of Imphal West, while L Nandakumar Singh was appointed new DC of Chandel.
Govt has also appointed new SPs and SPs in charge in six districts. Thoubal SP Rakesh Balwal has been transferred as SP of Imphal East, replacing K Meghachandra Singh, who has been posted as commanding officer (CO) of 1st Manipur Rifles.
Chandel SP Shivanand Surve has been shifted to Senapati, replacing Anupam, who has been reassigned as joint secretary (home). Churachandpur SP Shaikh M Zaib Zakir has been transferred as senior staff officer to DGP, while Churachandpur SDPO Prakhar Pandey has been elevated as district’s new SP. Porompat SDPO Babitarani Swain has been transferred as SP of Tamenglong. Ibomcha Singh, in charge CO of 1st Manipur Rifles, has been made in charge SP of Thoubal. In charge SP of Tamenglong has appointed as in charge SP of Chandel.
