Incoming drones suspected to have been launched from across the International Border were spotted in Rajasthan’s Barmer district on Sunday (May 11, 2025) night, prompting the administration to enforce a strict blackout. Residents of the city were advised to stay indoors and switch off their lights.

Directors General from the three services addressed a press conference on Sunday (May 11, 2025) regarding Operation Sindoor and said that over 100 terrorists were killed, including those involved in the IC 814 hijacking and the Pulwama blasts. They also said that nine terror hubs in Pakistan were hit.

After three days of intense military hostilities,India and Pakistan reached an “understanding” about stopping “military action” and “firing”, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar announced on Saturday (May 10, 2025). Soon after the cessation of firing and military action between India and Pakistan was announced on Saturday (May 10, 2025) evening, cross-border firing from Pakistan was reported at several locations along the Jammu border, a Border Security Force (BSF) official said.
