K. Padmaja took charge as South Central Railway’s Principal Chief Operations Manager

South Central Railway’s (SCR) Principal Chief Commercial manager K. Padmaja has taken charge as the new Principal Chief Operations Manager (PCOM) here on Wednesday (January 15, 2025). She was earlier holding the PCOM as an additional charge and belongs to the 1991 batch of Indian Railways Traffic Service (IRTS).

She holds a bachelor’s degree in science and education. During her illustrious career spanning over 30 years with Indian Railways, Ms. Padmaja has held several other key positions across SCR as Chief Passenger & Freight Traffic Manager, Chief Commercial Manager – Passenger services and others. She is also the president of SCR Officers Association, said a press release.
