Finance Minister K.N. Balagopal will present the Kerala Budget for the 2025-26 fiscal in the State Legislative Assembly on Friday (February 7). The budget presentation will begin at 9 a.m.
On Friday, Mr. Balagopal will also table the Economic Review 2024 and the final supplementary financial statement for the 2024-25 fiscal. The general discussion on the Budget will take place on February 10, 11 and 12.
The Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development (Amendment) Bill , 2024, and a Bill on the formation of a commission for elderly citizens in the State will be taken up on February 13.
The Budget session began on January 17 with a policy address by Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar. The session adjourned for a break on January 24 and will resume on Friday.
