The Kerala Cabinet on Tuesday accepted a proposal to determine a brand new authorities mannequin diploma faculty in Wayanad.
The establishment will come up on a five-acre plot of land at Thrissilery village in Mananthavady, which has been transferred from the General Education division for the aim.
According to Higher Education Minister R. Bindu, the initiative is sure to spice up increased schooling within the Malabar area. The faculty can be arrange underneath the Centrally sponsored Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) scheme and can provide 5 new educational programs. Necessary non-teaching posts may even be created to help the administration and functioning of the faculty, she added.
