Lokesh, Jagan condole the death of farm workers in Railway Kodur road mishap-OxBig News Network

Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh on Monday (July 14, 2025) expressed shock over the tragic death of nine agriculture workers and injuries to ten others in a road mishap when a lorry laden with mangoes overturned at Reddivaripalle Cheruvu in Pullampet mandal of the Annamayya district on Sunday night.

All the deceased and the injured were residents of Settigunta ST Colony in Railway Kodur.

Terming the mishap “unfortunate” Mr. Lokesh directed the district administration to provide timely medical aid to the injured, assuring full government support to the bereaved families.

YSR Congress Party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy also condoled the deaths and urged the government to extend quality medical treatment for the injured and governmental support to the bereaved families.

Transport Minister Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy, who represents the Rayachoti Assembly constituency in the Annamayya district, directed the medical officers at the Government Hospital at Rajampeta to provide the best medical attention to the injured.
