Modi leaving no stone unturned to divide nation, alleges Kharge-OxBig News Network

Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge on Sunday accused PM Narendra Modi and the ruling BJP of breaking the unity of the country.

Speaking at a public gathering in Delhi, Kharge said, “The BJP hates the common man of the country. Narendra Modi is leaving no stone unturned to break the unity of the country. Our fight is against the hatred spread by them, for which political power is important.”

He urged people to protect the Constitution. “When Rahul Gandhi asked for caste census, PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah said the Congress was trying to break the nation. We are trying to unite the nation. Only after the caste census, we will know which community is distressed,” Kharge said.

The Congress leader said the BJP talks about morality, but does immoral things. “Sometimes it steals votes from EVMs and sometimes elected MLAs. Sometimes it steals your pension and sometimes it steals the MSP of farmers,” he stated.

Kharge also said that a Congress delegation would visit Sambhal in UP. The town witnessed violence after the court ordered the survey of Jama Masjid. He also slammed the trend of surveys being conducted at mosques and dargahs following claims that a temple existed at these places.

“In 2023, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat had said ‘Our aim was to build Ram temple, but it is wrong to find a Shivalaya under every mosque.’ Modi-Shah don’t even listen to their leader Mohan Bhagwat. Tomorrow they will demolish Red Fort, Taj Mahal, Charminar and look for something underneath them,” he said.

“Today, everywhere in the country, people who undertake surveys are trying to find whether there were temples or mosques underneath the site in question,” he added.

Talking about the recent adjournments of Parliament proceedings, the Congress leader alleged that the House was being adjourned even before several MPs had a chance to speak.
