Newborn’s body found in river near Koyilandy in Kerala’s Kozhikode-OxBig News Network

The body of a newborn baby was found in a river at Nellyadi Kadavu, near Koyilandy, in Kozhikode district of Kerala in the early hours of Tuesday (December 10, 2024).

According to sources, the body was found by fishers around 1.30 a.m. The police and Fire and Rescue Services personnel were informed subsequently. Thereafter, the body, with its umbilical cord intact, was shifted to the taluk hospital.

The police have begun a probe into the incident.
