Online share trade: one held on charge of cheating man of ₹29 lakh-OxBig News Network

The police arrested a man for allegedly cheating another of ₹29 lakh through online share trading.

K.P. Hritheesh from Kaipamangalam, Thrissur, was arrested for cheating a man from Alanallur in the district.

Hritheesh allegedly gained the victim’s trust by initially providing small returns on minor investments and convincing him to invest larger sums. He induced the victim to deposit larger amounts and then swindled ₹29 lakh in October last year. Investigation revealed that the swindled money was transferred to Hritheesh’s bank account.
