He said that a case has been registered under sections 105 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder), 110 (attempt to commit culpable homicide), 126 (2) (wrongful restraint), 223 (disobedience to order issued by public servant), 238 (destruction of evidence) of the Indian Penal Code.
The complaint said, “The organizers had told the administration that this time 80 thousand followers would gather, hiding the situation of the crowd of lakhs of people who had reached the previous programs. Accordingly, security arrangements were made but more than 2.5 lakh people had reached the satsang, which created chaos. It was alleged, “After the discourse of the main preacher of the satsang, Surajpal alias ‘Bhole Baba’, he was leaving the venue in his car, when the followers started clearing the dust from the path of his car. During this, some people were crushed due to the pressure of the crowd of lakhs.” It said, “The crowd was forcibly stopped by the organizing committee and sevadars, due to which the pressure of the crowd kept increasing and women, children and men were crushed and crushed in it. A large number of innocent people were killed and seriously injured due to the organizers and sevadars.” The complaint alleged, “The police and administration officials present on the spot took the injured and unconscious people to the hospital, but the organizers and sevadars did not cooperate. The conditions of permission regarding traffic control at the event venue were not followed. The organizers destroyed evidence by picking up the belongings, clothes and shoes of the people left at the spot and throwing them in a nearby field.”
Surajpal of Kasganj became ‘Bhole Baba’

It is being told that the real name of about 70-year-old ‘Bhole Baba’, a native of Bahadur Nagar of Patiyali police station area of Kasganj district, is Surajpal. He told that Surajpal of Scheduled Caste (SC) left the police job about two decades ago and turned to spirituality and after becoming ‘Bhole Baba’, the number of his devotees started increasing. A large number of people gather in his satsang. One of Surajpal’s three brothers has died and Baba, who gained fame as ‘Bhole Baba’, has appointed a “caretaker” by making his property in Bahadur Nagar a trust. Baba has no children and takes his wife with him to the satsang. It is said that Baba gives sermons and keeps his ‘volunteers’ for security arrangements, who take care of the arrangements of his satsang. ‘Bhole Baba’, who gives sermons, left the police job more than a decade and a half ago and started satsang and became ‘Saakar Vishwa Hari Bhole Baba’. After the establishment of Baba’s ashram in Bahadur Nagar, his popularity among the poor and deprived sections increased rapidly and he gained millions of followers. One specialty of Narayan Hari is that he does not wear saffron clothes, but prefers to wear white suit and tie. His second favorite dress is kurta-pyjama.
