A roadshow was organised here on Saturday by PALS (a voluntary initiative led by IIT alumni), bringing together academic leaders from across Kerala to advance engineering education in the State.
The event witnessed participation from over 17 engineering colleges across Thrissur, Palakkad, and Ernakulam districts.
The event highlighted the sustained commitment of PALS to academic excellence, faculty development, and student empowerment through structured, year-long engagement programmes, embodying its mission to build institutional eminence across States, according to organisers.
The event drew senior delegates, Principals, and management representatives from numerous institutions.
In her keynote address, Vijayalakshmi Sankar, Vice-Chair of PALS, emphasised the critical role of PALS in bridging the gap between industry and academia, equipping institutions with the tools needed to meet evolving educational demands.
PALS is an educational initiative by volunteers from alumni fraternity of various IITs, for the benefit of students at engineering colleges.
