Police officials inspect Palayamkottai central prison-OxBig News Network

A police team, led by Tirunelveli ACP Saravanan, conducted a search operation at the Palayamkottai central prisons on Sunday. The police said that the 50-member team checked the prison cells, kitchen, store room, and other areas, from 5.50 a.m. to 7.20 a.m. Officials said that it was a routine drill and that they did not seize any material from the prisoners.
