“The Congress is very disciplined; it runs on principles. There is going to be no revolution in the party,” Minister M.B. Patil said in Vijayapura on Friday.
He was responding to a claim made by Minister K.N. Rajanna that there are too many power centres in the Congress and that there will be a revolution later this year.
“Mr. Rajanna is a senior leader. I do not know in which sense he made that statement. He needs to explain the context so that others can understand and comment on it. However, one thing that is clear is that there is going to be no revolution in the Congress,” he said.
“The party functions on principles. There is a high command that leads the party and the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister are leading the government. They will address all concerns raised by party legislators,” Mr. Patil said.
