Woman SI and a motorcyclist killed in car-bike collision in Jagtial district-OxBig News Network

A woman sub-inspector (SI) of police and a motorcyclist were killed in a road accident involving a car and a motorcycle at Chilvakodur village in Gollapalli mandal of Jagtial district on Tuesday (February 4, 2025) morning.

The deceased SI was identified as 30-year-old K. Shwetha, attached to the District Crime Records Bureau (DCRB) in Jagtial district police headquarters. The identity of another deceased could not be ascertained immediately.

Shwetha was heading to Jagtial from Arnakonda village in her car when the accident occurred, sources said.

She reportedly lost control of the wheel while trying to avoid collision with an oncoming motorcycle near Chilvakodur village. The car rammed into a roadside tree resulting in her instant death. The motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries in the road accident.

A 2020 batch SI of Police, Shwetha hailed from Arnakonda village in Choppadandi mandal of Karimnagar district.
