Is ‘Bridgerton’ season 4 releasing in Valentine’s week 2026? Here’s what we know

Expectations are quite high for the fourth season of the most loved show ‘Bridgerton’ and the latest reports put forward two dates for its potential release.

According to WhatsOnNetflix, ‘Bridgerton’ season 4 may be released in December 2025 or 2026’s Valentine’s week. Reportedly the filming of the fourth season has started and the makers are expected to wrap it in April 2025.

Created by Chris Van Dusen and starring Nicola Coughlan, Luke Newton, Jonathan Bailey, Simone Ashley, and many more in the lead, ‘Bridgerton’ has a huge fan base and the audiences are eagerly waiting for the unveiling of its new seasons.
The third season of the series was streamed in two parts. One part started streaming on May 16, 2024, and the second part was released on June 13, 2024. Season 3 posed a pivotal question on whether Penelope will be keeping her double identity as Lady Whistledown or whether Colin will discover her secret and call off their marriage. Although the series had an interesting premise from the start, the season 3 received mixed reviews from the viewers.
ETimes gave a 3 out of 5 stars rating for ‘Bridgerton’ season 3 and our review reads, “Bridgerton’s biggest draw in Season 1, apart from the sizzling romance, was its diverse, multi-cultural casting, one that extended well into season two with Simone Ashley as Kate. In season 3, while it’s still very much there, it’s somewhat on the sidelines. Banita Sandhu as Miss Malhotra barely has a relevant role. Full marks to Nicola Coughlan, who has been remarkable since Season 1, for owning her role and character arc so phenomenally well. She simply shines as the resolute yet vulnerable Penelope, who puts herself out there, judgements and all. Colin’s character graph however is less exciting and left unexplored despite him being the lady-charmer and Luke Newton’s very sincere portrayal. In Bridgerton Season 3, Nicola Coughlan certainly sparkles but the series somehow doesn’t dazzle enough.”
