A report on Deadline confirmed a new spinoff starring Beth and Rip ahead of Yellowstone’s season 5 finale. The lovebirds reportedly have the most untapped story potential, considering their extensive history, and the show could build on the flashbacks to the characters’ early days in Yellowstone.
Their story could also include Kayce and Monica, however, that would depend on the season 5 finale. While other franchise spinoffs are in the works, this series based on Beth and Rip’s story will reportedly be the first to include Yellowstone in its title, unmistakably tying it to the original.Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan will likely lead the series that will continue the story and characters from the show.
News of the spinoff comes days after Kelly Reilly first hinted at her possible return as Beth. She also shared her eagerness to explore the character better, should the show be greenlit.

Other cast members will likely be returning as well, though a confirmation on the same is still awaited.
