Kesari Chapter 2: Ananya Panday to play a lawyer alongside Akshay Kumar and R Madhavan? First look goes viral-OxBig News Network

New posters of Kesari Chapter 2 were hung in theatres, photographs of which have now gone viral on social media thanks to fans. While we have already seen Akshay Kumar in an intense mode in the court of law through the teaser, this is the first time that Ananya Panday and R Madhavan’s lawyer avatars are being witnessed by fans. Like Akshay, Madhavan has also donned glasses, which give a very intellectual vibe. But the latter is also sporting a salt and pepper beard. Ananya, on the other hand, is dressed in a white saree with a black waistcoat and a white band around her neck, which is traditionally worn by lawyers. Her hair is in a low bun, and there is fire in her eyes.

We are quite impressed with this new poster of Kesari Chapter 2. However, netizens were left divided. Some praised Ananya, excited to see her in the film as a lawyer. For instance, one social media user gushed, “Ananya is growing very well as an actress,” whereas another wrote, “🤣🤣Why does it look so funny. But hope she blows ppl mind.” A netizen guessed, “Since Akshay’s also a lawyer she’s probably the prosecution lawyer. An Anglo Indian?” But there were others who trolled Ananya. One such comment read, “Miscast! Isme Katrina ko cast kar lete na! She would have nailed the anglo-british role!,” whereas another agreed and wrote, “such a miscast.”

This isn’t the first time that Ananya is playing a lawyer in a film. Back in 2023, the actor portrayed the role of a lawyer in Dream Girl 2, opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. Well, we are very excited to see Akshay, Ananya and Maddy shine on the silver screen when Kesari Chapter 2 arrives in theatres on April 18.
