Kim Soo Hyun’s Agency Responds to Controversy Over Sulli’s Scenes in ‘Real’ Amidst Dating Rumors |

Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, has finally spoken out over claims of the late Sulli‘s revealing scenes in the 2017 movie “Real,” where she starred alongside Kim Soo Hyun. The agency issued its statement amidst raging dating rumors surrounding Kim Soo Hyun and actress Kim Sae Ron, and following Sulli’s brother, Choi Da Hee, making a public call for answers over what happened in those scenes.
The agency stated that they are “currently verifying the situation” after Sulli’s brother released an official statement with Sports Kyunghyang.
Choi Da Hee’s demands center around three key issues related to the controversial scenes in “Real,” which caused significant backlash at the time of the film’s release. Da Hee expressed his grief for his sister, who tragically passed away in 2019.
These are the three allegations put forward by Sulli’s brother, requesting an explanation from Kim Soo Hyun and the crew:
1. Lack of Detail in Script: Choi Da Hee alleges that members of the staff at Sulli’s funeral asserted that the adult scenes were not initially written in detail in the script. He put forward, “We would like to hear Kim Soo Hyun’s position on this.”
2. Application of Body Double: There was a body double on the set for this particular scene, though it did not end up being utilized, claims Choi Da Hee. Sulli supposedly was pushed by him to shoot the scene by herself.
3. Inconsistent Testimonies: When the news of the scenes first broke, it was reported that the body double was ill and unavailable. But Sulli’s brother claims that several witnesses from the set have since refuted this. “Is this true?” he asked.
Sulli’s scandalous scenes in “Real” drew enormous backlash, with the actress herself shouldering the criticism while Kim Soo Hyun and the production company remained mum. Post her death, her brother disclosed hearing “troubling allegations, particularly regarding the bedroom scene” at her funeral.
Sulli was discovered dead in her Seongnam home on October 14, 2019, aged 25. Her death was certified as a suicide.
