Kurnool SP warns of action against rooster fights-OxBig News Network

The District Police have warned of severe action against those organising rooster fights and gambling during the Sankranti festivities.

Superintendent of Police G. Bindhu Madhav said organising any type of gambling or rooster fights or participating in such events is illegal. Mr Bindhu Madhav has asked the police personnel to keep a strict vigil against rooster fights or any other illegal activities. The SP said those who give land for organising rooster fights will also face action.

The SP asked the general public to celebrate Sankranti in a traditional way in a peaceful manner. The SP said youngsters are getting addicted to gambling and other vices. He warned that the youth will face problems in getting passport and employment opportunities if any criminal cases are registered against them and asked them not to indulge in gambling.
