Sahana, the wife of Renukaswamy, who was allegedly kidnapped and brutally murdered by Kannada the superstar Darshan and his associates, gave birth to a baby boy on October 16, 2024. Sahana was five months pregnant when Renukaswamy was killed, and she is currently recovering in a private hospital in Chitradurga, Karnataka.
Renukaswamy’s father, Kashinathaiah, expressed gratitude to the hospital staff for their support during this challenging time.As per a report by NDTV, he shared that both Sahana and the newborn are doing well. With tears in his eyes, he remarked that his son has returned to them in the form of this newborn baby. The delivery took place at 6:55 AM, and Kashinathaiah thanked the doctors for their care, noting that they provided their services free of charge.
For the unversed, Renukaswamy was a 33 year old working at a pharmacy. He was allegedly tortured to death after sending inappropriate messages to Pavithra Gowda, who is said to be the alleged girlfriend of Kannada’s “Challenging Star” Darshan. If reports are to be believed the victim would message Pavithra targeting her to be damaging Darshan’s married life. This got Darshan to lash out at his anger on him as he allegedly orchestrated his murder. The incident shocked the community and has led to ongoing legal proceedings against Darshan, Gowda, and 15 other individuals involved in the case.
Kashinathaiah chose not to discuss the details of the ongoing investigation but said that his focus is on ensuring the health and well-being of his daughter-in-law and grandchild. He acknowledged the emotional toll that Renukaswamy’s death had taken on Sahana, especially given her pregnancy at the time of his murder.
