Moment of terror: Man rams truck into New Orleans crowd, killing 15

A US Army veteran, flying an ISIS flag from his truck, ploughed into a crowd in New Orleans’ French Quarter on New Year’s Day and opened fire, killing 15 people. The suspect, identified as Shamsud-Din Jabbar, a US citizen from Texas who had previously served as a Marine in Afghanistan, was also killed in a shootout with the police. A video of the incident shows the man accelerating the truck as he turned onto Bourbon Street, ramming into the victims.
