China’s National Immigration Administration announced that, starting June 12, Indonesian travellers will be eligible for the country’s 240-hour visa-free transit policy. This brings the total number of participating countries to 55.

The policy allows eligible travellers with valid documents and a confirmed onward ticket to a third destination to transit through China for up to 240 hours without a visa.

It applies at 60 designated entry points across 24 regions, including major cities like Beijing and Shanghai.
