European indices close lower with German Dax down -1.18%. France CAC down -0.95% | Forexlive

Major European indices fell in trading today with the Italy’s FTSE MIB the worst performer. The UK’s FTSE 100 fell modestly after the Bank of England Rates unchanged.

• France’s CAC, -77.27 points or -0.95% at 8094.21.
• UK’s FTSE 100 -4.67 points or -0.05% at 8702.00.
• Spain’s Ibex, -101.78 points or -0.76% at 13306.31.
• Italy’s FTSE MIB -524.49 points or -1.32% at 39188.16..

As London/European traders look to exit for the day, the US indices are mixed with the Dow industrial average higher while the S&P and NASDAQ indices are lower:

• Dow industrial average for 73 points or 0.17% at 42035
• S&P index -6.01 points or -0.11% at 5669.55
• NASDAQ index -41.91 points or -0.24% at 17706.
• Russell 2000-3.55 points or -0.17% at 2078.49.

• 5-year yield 4.010%, -1.9 basis points
• 10 year yield 4.231%, -2.5 basis points
