State-owned telecom agency BSNL earned a revenue of ₹280 crore within the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2025, marking its second consecutive quarterly revenue in final 18 years, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia mentioned on Tuesday.

The firm had posted a revenue after tax of ₹262 crore for the third quarter of FY25.

“On a net profit basis, almost 10 circles have come in with a net profit compared to only 3 circles posting a net profit in financial year 2023-24. BSNL’s net loss in 2023-24, which was close to ₹5,370 crore, has been slashed by 58 per cent to only ₹2,247 crore,” Scindia mentioned.

Operating income of BSNL in FY25 elevated by 7.8 per cent to ₹20,841 crore from ₹19,330 crore in FY24.

The minister mentioned that every one three core engines of BSNL — FTTH, buyer mobility and the enterprise section — have posted wholesome development charges for 2024-25.

Total income grew by nearly 10 per cent to ₹23,400 crore regardless of deployment of ₹24,432 crore capex in FY25, the most important quantity in any monetary yr, Scindia mentioned.

During FY25, BSNL’s mobility income grew 6 per cent to ₹7,499 crore, Fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) income was greater by 10 per cent to ₹2,923 crore and leased line together with enterprise section topline rose 3.5 per cent to ₹4,096 crore.

Scindia mentioned BSNL’s 4G is lively now and all of the towers are wanted to be synchronised. He mentioned that 93,450 towers for 4G companies have been rolled out and the corporate’s asset monetisation elevated by 77 per cent to ₹1,120 crore in FY25.
