Bandipora, November 15: The district administration of Bandipora organized a grand event under the Dharati Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan to mark the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda.
The event was attended by MLA Nazir Ahmad Bhatt, Chairman of District Development Council (DDC) Abdul Ghani Bhatt, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, Vice Chairperson Kausar Shafiq, senior officers from various departments, tribal community members, and a large number of local residents.
During the event, speakers paid homage to the services of Bhagwan Birsa Munda and emphasized the importance of social and economic development for tribal communities. The ceremony featured vibrant cultural programs and the distribution of solar lights to 80 households in the Chandaji area.
Concluding the event, organizers and participants expressed gratitude and highlighted the occasion as a significant step towards the development of the tribal community.
