The current governments of Britain and Iran have lost, now elections are going on in France- Macron’s restlessness is increasing

After the election of new governments in Britain and Iran, parliamentary elections are going on in France as well. Various surveys show that the current French President Emmanuel Macron is in a bad shape. According to the survey, Macron’s party may lose the elections. The current government has also lost the elections in Britain and Iran. The public gave a chance to new parties.

Paris: The government has changed after elections in Iran and Britain. Now the second phase of voting for parliamentary elections has started in France today. In the elections, the country’s far-right party ‘National Rally’ is maintaining its biggest lead so far. The term of the French Parliament was to end in 2027, but due to a big defeat in the European Union, President Emmanuel Macron dissolved the Parliament prematurely. Earlier, the first phase of elections was held on 30 June, in which Marine Le Pen-led National Rally took the lead.

Today’s voting will decide who will control the National Assembly and who will become the Prime Minister. If Macron’s party does not get a majority, he will be forced to share power with parties opposing pro-EU policies.

What happened in the first phase

In the first phase of voting in the French parliamentary elections, far-right leader Marine Le Pen’s party National Rally (RN) has won a landslide victory. The second phase of voting is being held today. But according to all the exit polls, the far-right leader Marine Le Pen’s party National Rally (RN) seems to be forming the government. At the same time, the departure of President Emmanuel Macron is now considered certain. Marine Le Pen won the first round of the French parliamentary elections on Sunday with a historic lead, but the final result will also depend on the horse-trading of the candidates who won in the first phase.

Let us tell you that according to the exit polls of run-off Ipsos, Ifop, Opinionway and Elabe, Le Pen’s party RN is likely to get about 34% of the votes. This is considered a big setback for President Emmanuel Macron. Macron had announced immediate elections after the victory of RN and the defeat of his candidate in the European Parliament elections. RN’s share of the total vote was far ahead of leftist and centrist rivals, including Macron’s Together alliance, whose block was seen winning 20.5%-23%. Exit polls showed that the recently formed left-wing alliance New Popular Front (NPF) was projected to get around 29% of the votes.
