President Biden has given his support to Vice President Kamala Harris as the party candidate. Los Angeles lawyer Douglas Emhoff is Kamala Harris’s husband. Biden called Harris a “fearless warrior” when he chose her as his vice presidential candidate in 2020. Kamala has been serving as Vice President since January 2021. She is the first woman, first black and first citizen of South Asian origin in America to hold this post. Harris (59) won her seat in the US Senate in 2016 after being elected Attorney General of California twice.
