Today, the Supreme Court has given a big decision on the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Regarding this, Delhi government minister Saurabh Bhardwaj gave a statement saying that if this arrest is proved to be illegal, then this decision will be a milestone.
The Supreme Court has given a big decision on the petition challenging the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by the ED. While granting interim bail to Arvind Kejriwal, the court said on Arvind Kejriwal’s petition challenging the arrest in the money laundering case related to the excise policy that we have sent this matter to the larger bench. Regarding this, Delhi government minister Saurabh Bhardwaj said, “If the arrest of the Chief Minister under PMLA is declared illegal, it will prove to be a huge milestone for the misuse of this law across the country and many people are waiting for this decision. He said that we hope that this decision will strengthen the Constitution of our country.”

While giving the verdict, the court said that Arvind Kejriwal has spent 90 days in jail. He is an elected leader. It depends on him whether he wants to continue in the role of CM or not. Let us tell you that Arvind Kejriwal has got interim bail in the ED arrest case. However, the hearing on the case related to CBI is yet to be held. The Arvind Kejriwal case will be heard by a bench of three judges.
Supreme Court verdict on money laundering case today
Let us tell you that the Supreme Court is going to give its verdict on Friday on the petition of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal challenging his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate in the money laundering case related to the alleged excise policy scam in Delhi. According to the list of July 12 uploaded on the website of the apex court, a bench headed by Justice Sanjeev Khanna will give the verdict. The bench had reserved its decision on Kejriwal’s petition on May 17. Justice Dipankar Dutta is also included in the bench.
