Allu Arjun after the release of his box office smash hit ‘Pushpa 2‘, the actor is rumoured to be collaborating with renowned director Atlee for his next. Further, speculations suggest another high-profile Bollywood actor is being considered by the makers.
After Salman Khan put rumours to rest that his project with the director has been put on the back burner for a while, buzz is that a Bollywood actress will be stepping in. As per a report by Let’s Cinema, Priyanka Chopra Jonas is being considered as the female lead for this ambitious project. The film, tentatively titled ‘Parallel Universe’, is expected to feature Allu Arjun in dual roles, contrary to earlier rumours of a two-hero story. While these are just speculations, the makers are yet to make any official announcements.

Known for his blockbuster hits like ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, Allu Arjun is riding high on success and gearing up for his next big venture. Directed by Atlee, who gained pan-Indian acclaim with films like ‘Jawan’, the movie is rumoured to be a massive period drama with reincarnation as its central theme. The film reportedly comes with a hefty budget and with a high visual appeal.

Further on Allu Arjun’s work plate he has several projects as he is also rumored to collaborate with Trivikram Srinivas for their fourth film together and this time for a mythological drama where he might portray Lord Karthikeya.

On the other hand, Priyanka, who is currently starring in SS Rajamouli’s jungle adventure ‘SSMB29‘ alongside Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran, is speculated to bring her global appeal to this project. If confirmed, this would mark her first collaboration with Allu Arjun and Atlee. The makers are expected to announce the cast officially in the coming months as pre-production begins in April 2025.
Speaking of her collaboration in ‘SSMB29’, this marks her return to Indian cinema after a four-year hiatus.
