The Reserve Bank of India on Friday kept the benchmark interest rate unchanged for the 11th straight policy meeting, saying the last mile of inflation is turning out to be prolonged and arduous.
“Monetary policy has a wide-ranging impact, price stability is important for every segment of society,” said RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das.
The growth outlook is resilient but warrants close monitoring, said Governor Das.
