Salman Khan meets writer Vijayendra Prasad; sparks speculations on ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2’ -OxBig News Network

Mere days after delivering Sikandar, Salman Khan seems to have set his sights on his next. According to reports, the veteran actor has caught up with screenwriter V. Vijayendra Prasad, who penned Bajrangi Bhaijaan earlier. It’s speculated that the meeting is to initiate talks for a sequel to the hit 2015 film.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan, apart from being one of Salman’s biggest hits, also won the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment at the 63rd National Film Awards.

According to an independent industry source, “Salman Khan met V. Vijayendra Prasad a couple of days back. They have come up with an idea and discussions are on that could be for Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2. Moreover, there is a chance of possible collaboration between V. Vijayendra Prasad and director Kabir Khan, the trio is coming together. However, nothing has been finalised yet.”

V. Vijayendra Prasad, the man behind films like RRR and the Baahubali films that were helmed by his son SS Rajamouli, has also penned stories for Bobbili Simham (1994), Magadheera (2009) and Eega (2012).
