Salman Khan spotted with armed security amid Bishnoi threats: Actor keeps calm at Mumbai airport

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was recently spotted at the Mumbai airport under an unusually heavy security cover. The actor, who is known for his casual public appearances, was seen flanked by multiple security personnel, including armed guards, and his long-time bodyguard Shera.

Heavy Security Detail Stuns Fans
A video shared on social media captured Salman walking through the airport premises calmly, dressed in a black t-shirt, blue jeans, and stylish sunglasses. Despite the heightened alert, Salman acknowledged the paparazzi with a smile and a nod, leaving fans both impressed and concerned.
Security Tightened After Gunshots at Galaxy Apartments
This increased security comes in the wake of serious threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. In April 2024, gunshots were fired outside Salman Khan’s residence, Galaxy Apartments, in Bandra, Mumbai. Shortly after, Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, reportedly took responsibility for the incident in a Facebook post. The authorities did not take the threat lightly, and Salman’s security was immediately upgraded to the Y+ category. In July, the actor also recorded his official statement with the police, revealing that he believed the Bishnoi gang was attempting to kill him.
Salman Speaks Out About the Mental Toll
While promoting his latest film, Sikandar, Salman Khan recently opened up about the mental and emotional strain of being under constant watch. Speaking to the media, he said, “Bhagwan, Allah sab unpar hai. Jitni umar likhi hai, utni likhi hai… Kabhi kabhi itne logon ko saath mein leke chalna padta hai, bas wohi problem ho jaati hai.”
‘Sikandar’ box office performance
Despite a stellar opening and Salman Khan’s massive fan following, Sikandar has seen a sharp drop in collections during its second week. The film, which kicked off with Rs 26 crore on Day 1 and peaked at Rs 29 crore on Day 2, struggled to maintain momentum as the days progressed. According to the Sacnilk website, it earned just Rs 11 lakh on its 14th day, taking the total to Rs 108.21 crore across all languages.
