Sanjay Mishra opens up about replacing Vijay Raaz in Son of Sardaar 2: ‘I got a call from Ajay Devgn’ | Hindi Movie News

Actor Sanjay Mishra, who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming Kartik Aaryan starrer film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’, has replaced actor Vijay Raaz in the film ‘Son of Sardaar 2’. The actor opened up about his relationship with Vijay and how he ended up taking on his role in the Ajay Devgn film.
During an interview with India Today digital, Sanjay shared, “I am done filming for Son of Sardaar 2.All of this is a part of the business, to be very honest. I did the film because I got a call from Ajay Devgn. One call from him and that’s all it takes for me to say yes to him. He’s a close friend and has been there for me in tough times. Not just that, replacing Vijay wasn’t easy.”
He continued by praising his friend and colleague’s acting abilities. He went on to appreciate the acting prowess of his colleague and friend. The actor was all praises for Vijay and said that he is a phenomenal actor, as is widely recognized. In the back of his mind, he was certainly aware of the need to perform and deliver his best, particularly because he had replaced a fine actor like Vijay. They are also friends and will remain so. He is a fan of Vijay’s work and acknowledges that Vijay is exceptional in his craft. This awareness instead motivated him to enhance his performance, ensuring he does not disappoint his audience or Ajay, who consistently places his faith in him.
Known for his roles in several films, including Golmaal, Dhamaal, Bhakshak, and Kadvi Hawa, the actor is back to entertain his fans with his comedic timing in Aneez Bazmi’s Diwali release, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’. The film stars Triptii Dimri, Kartik Aryan, Vidya Balan, and Madhuri Dixit in the key roles.
‘Son of Sardaar 2’ is slated for release in 2025, however ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 3’ is scheduled to open in theaters on November 1.
