Santhanam’s ‘DD Next Level’ release date out-OxBig News Network

We had previously reported that a sequel to DD Returns, which was released in 2023, is in the making, and it’s titled DD Next Level. The makers of the Santhanam starter have now announced the film’s release date.

Santhanam also took to his social media accounts to share the release date. He also confirmed that apart from Tamil, the film will also be out in Hindi and Telugu.

DD Next Level will hit theatres on May 16. S Prem Anand, who directed the original, is the director of DD Next Level. The film also stars actor-filmmakers Gautam Vasudev Menon and Selvaraghavan, alongside Geethika, Yashika Aannand, Maaran, Nizhalgal Ravi, Kasthuri Shankar and Rajendran.

Niharika Entertainment and actor Arya under the banner The Show People have produced the movie. OfRo has composed the music for the movie while Bharath Vikraman has done the editing. Deepak Kumar Padhy is the cinematographer.

The franchise began with Dhilluku Dhuddu in 2016. The film was followed by Dhilluku Dhuddu 2 in 2019. DD Returns was a standalone sequel. DD Next Level is eyeing a May 2025 release.
