SBI donates dialysis machine to St. John’s Medical College-OxBig News Network

In observance of World Kidney Day, the State Bank of India (SBI) donated a CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) dialysis machine valued at ₹24.67 lakh to St. John’s Medical College Hospital in Bengaluru on Thursday. 

The donation was officially handed over by Joohi Smita Sinha, Chief General Manager of SBI, to the hospital authorities. The event was attended by Rev. Fr. Jesudoss Rajamanickam, Director of St. John’s National Academy of Health Sciences.

The specialised machine will be used in the hospital’s Pediatric department to provide dialysis for critically ill children who are too unstable for conventional dialysis treatments.
