The Met Gala 2025 saw a Bollywood takeover with stars from Shah Rukh Khan to Priyanka Chopra, Diljit Dosanjh, Kiara Advani and Manish Malhotra lining up to walk the carpet in their stylish best outfits.
Shah Rukh Khan made his debut in an all-black ensemble while adding a bling factor with statement jewellery and an uber-cool Bengal Tiger walking stick. On the other hand, Priyanka Chopra stunned with her polka-dot outfit that brought back old Hollywood glamour while also sticking to the theme, ‘Superfine: Tailoring Black Style’.
While fans were abuzz on social media with the desi stars’ outfits for the evening, things took a filmy turn later in the night, with some drawing parallels between the star’s outfit choices.
SRK and Priyanka’s outfits for the evening seemed to remind fans of the ensembles they wore while promoting their film Don. Though the stars did not walk the blue carpet together, their outfit choices triggered a wave of nostalgia, sending fans into a frenzy.

“Don & Roma have come back for a mission,” commented a fan, while another said, “DON & ROMA TAKE OVER THE #METGALA.”

Shah Rukh, made a solo appearance for his Met Gala debut this year. The actor, in an interview, revealed that he attended the gala because his kids – Suhana, Aryan and AbRam- were interested in it.
Meanwhile, Priyanka marked her fifth appearance at the gala with her hubby Nick Jonas by her side. The actress showed off the ensemble that boasted of a detachable train and a coat that she later took off while making her way up the iconic stairs.
