Rumours have been rife for a while now that Saif Ali Khan‘s son Ibrahim Ali Khan is dating Shweta Tiwari’s daughter Palak Tiwari. They are often spotted together in the city and at several social gatherings. Not to mention, it was recently speculated by fans on the internet that they were holidaying together in Maldives. Meanwhile, Palak’s mother Shweta Tiwari has now reacted to her dating rumours with Ibrahim.

She has said during a chat with Screen, “Rumours don’t bother me anymore, in all these years I have realized people’s memory only last for 4 hours. They will forget the news after that, so why bother? As per rumours, my daughter is dating every third guy, and I am getting married every year. As per the internet, I am already married thrice. These things don’t affect me now, earlier they did when social media was not there and when some journalist never liked writing good things about you. Negativity about actors sell. After dealing with that era, this doesn’t affect me,”
A while ago, Palak had clarified about her relationship status with Ibrahim, during a chat with Siddharth Kannan. She had said, “We were just out, and we got papped. It ends there. It’s just that. In fact, we were with a group of people. It wasn’t just us. but it got papped like that. It was the narrative that people liked the most, but that’s it. We are nice friends. He is a very sweet guy. That’s all there is to it. We talk sometimes and that’s all.”
Earlier, even Saif Ali Khan had cryptically reacted to Ibrahim’s dating life. Amidst rumours of him dating Palak, Saif had said, “He wanted to know how seriously to take his relationship at a certain stage. I’d be doing him a disservice if I shared more about our conversation. He discusses his work and girlfriend/s with me, while Sara talks to me about her work. Of course, they ask me things, and we often go out for lunch.”
