‘Sookshmadarshini’: Basil Joseph-Nazriya Nazim film locks OTT premiere date-OxBig News Network

The Malayalam film Sookshmadarshini has locked its OTT premiere date. Starring Basil Joseph and Nazriya Nazim, the movie is directed by MC Jithin.

A comedy thriller, which hit the screens on November 22, 2024, Sookshmadarshini will drop on Disney+ Hotstar on January 11, 2025 (Saturday). The film was Nazriya’s comeback to Malayalam cinema after Trance (2020).

Basil plays Manuel while Nazriya essays the character Priyadarshini in the movie. In the film, Manual arrives with his mother to stay in a new locality, and his nosy neighbour Priyadarshini senses something amiss in his behaviour.

Other actors in the movie are Sidharth Bharathan, Akhila Bhargavan, Pooja Mohanraj, and Merin Philip. Libin TB and Athul Ramachandran have written the screenplay of the movie while Christo Xavier has composed the music. Sharan Velyayudhan is the cinematographer.
