Speaker to inaugurate agricultural expo at Cherthala-OxBig News Network

Cherthala Polima- Karappuram Kazhchakal-2024, a 10-day agricultural expo organised by the Agriculture department, will begin at St. Michael’s College ground, Cherthala, on Friday. It will be inaugurated by Speaker A.N. Shamseer at 4 p.m. Agriculture Minister P. Prasad will preside.

The expo is aimed at the comprehensive agricultural development of the Cherthala Assembly constituency.

The event will feature agricultural and development seminars on various topics, B2B meetings, sharing of farming experiences, cultural programmes, literary and art competitions, ‘DPR Clinics,’ initiative that help agri entrepreneurs draft detailed project reports to know the viability of agricultural proposals, cake-making fest, vegetable carving, thatching, coconut tree-climbing, and quiz competitions, among other programmes. The expo will conclude on December 29.
