IPL trophy will be yours: Kuldeep Yadav asks RCB fans to chill after viral video-OxBig News Network

Delhi Capitals and India spinner Kuldeep Yadav asked the Royal Challengers Bengaluru fans to ‘chill’ after the video of him trolling the franchise went viral on Friday, January 24. Kuldeep, who is currently resting ahead of the Champions Trophy, was part of a YouTube live broadcast recently.

During the chat session, one of the viewers, who was a fan of RCB, asked Kuldeep to come to the franchise, so that he could become a ‘goalkeeper’ for them. Kuldeep was quick with his response and said that RCB needed an IPL trophy and not a goalkeeper.

“Tumhe goalkeeper ki nahi, trophy ki jarurat hai mere bhai. Goalkeeper kya karoge? (You don’t need a goalkeeper. You need a trophy. What will you do with a goalkeeper)?” said Kuldeep.

Kuldeep’s response would go viral as many mocked RCB while fans of the franchise trolled the spinner as well. You can see the full video below:

Kuldeep has now tried to call for a truce with the RCB fans and said that they will surely win the IPL title. The spinner ended his tweet by joking that he isn’t a goalkeeper.

“Chill yar rcb fans…Trophy apki hai. Par me goal keeper ni hu (Chill RCB fans. The trophy will be yours. But i’m not a goalkeeper.),” said Kuldeep on X.

Kuldeep has played 10 matches against RCB in his IPL career and picked up 7 wickets so far against them. The spinner was one of the players retained by the Capitals ahead of the new season as they aim to secure their maiden IPL crown.

Kuldeep, who missed the Border-Gavaskar Trophy due to an injury, will be back in India colours during the England ODI series. He is one of the 4 spinners who have been picked by India for the Champions Trophy.
