PBKS vs DC: Delhi bring in Madhav Tiwari in place of Vipraj Nigam for must win clash-OxBig News Network

Delhi Capitals (DC) made one change to their playing XI as they dropped Vipraj Nigam for Match 58 of the Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025) against Punjab Kings (PBKS). Captain Axar Patel informed about the team change at the toss after PBKS captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and opted to bat first.

Vipraj has been in fine form in the ongoing season, having scalped nine wickets in ten innings for DC. Apart from that, he has also scored 122 runs from seven innings at an average of 20.33 and a strike rate of 179.41. He’s been replaced by Madhav Tiwari, who’s a 21-year-old all-rounder from Madhya Pradesh. Delhi also dropped Karun Nair for the fixture, who failed to continue his form after a breathtaking knock in his first game of the season against Mumbai Indians (MI).

Nair scored a sensational 89 (40) against MI but failed to continue his form as he could only score 65 runs in the next six innings. He has been replaced by Sameer Rizvi in the playing XI as Delhi are desperate to bounce back to the winning track after being win-less in the last three fixtures.
