Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh, in an exclusive conversation with ETimes, shared, “Of course, it’s a very exciting day to look forward to, as Salman Khan and Aamir Khan will once again be seen together on the big screen — which is fantastic! Re-releases these days are quite unpredictable. A film like Karan Arjun didn’t do well at the box office, but Sanam Teri Kasam surprised everyone. What will click and what won’t is something only the re-release day and the audience’s response will reveal. Andaz Apna Apna is a cult film and watching it in theaters again is a true cinematic experience. The added bonus is — there’s no major release on April 25, giving it a clear runway!”

Cast Shares Their Favorite Memories
Juhi Chawla, who had a cameo in the film, shared her joy: “Andaz Apna Apna is one of my favorite films. I’m so happy it’s re-releasing because it’s one of the sweetest, cutest, finest, and cleverest films I’ve ever seen. I wish all of you would go watch it, love it, and have an amazing time!”
Paresh Rawal, who famously played both Ram Gopal Bajaj and Teja, in an earlier interview with ETimes, had shared how the film is different and also spoke about the making of the film. “To tell you the truth, nobody can make comedy like Rajkumar Santoshi did“. If anyone had shot the making of Andaz Apna Apna, that would’ve been a gem in itself. The way he directed us — it was magical! It was our generation’s Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi. There was an innocence in it, just like in Hera Pheri or Malamaal Weekly. You couldn’t get up once the film started — it was written and performed so beautifully.”
Throwback to the Set
Shehzad Khan, who played Bhalla, recalled while in a conversation with IANS. “Shooting for Andaz Apna Apna felt like a picnic. We didn’t have makeup vans —we’d sit under umbrellas or in tiny rooms and just have a blast. I remember we got stuck at Coimbatore airport while returning from Ooty. We laughed like crazy! Seeing Salman and Aamir being recognized there — it was all just so joyful. Honestly, I’m even more excited about the re-release than I was in 1994.

In a chat with Bollywood Hungama, Namrata Sinha confirmed, “We’ve remastered the film in 4K and upgraded the sound to Dolby 5.1 for a theatrical experience like never before. The music album has also been re-released by Tips, with enhanced sound quality and radio promotions.” Adding a special touch, Priti Sinha revealed, “We’ve included a new opening credit sequence that thanks the re-release team. There’s also a surprise! The unreleased song ‘Shola’ Shola’—which didn’t make it into the original cut — now plays in the background during the opening. Plus, we’ve acknowledged our brand partners and added a ‘Special Thanks’ section for everyone who made this possible.”
