Stock Market News Today | Sensex, Nifty, Share Prices Live: Benchmark equity indices on Wednesday opened in positive territory. The NSE Nifty 50 opened at 24,184.40, up 45.40 points or 0.19 percent, while the BSE Sensex opened at 79,065.22, up 109.19 points or 0.14 percent, at opening trade. The broader indices opened in mixed territory. The Bank Nifty index opened at 49,887.15, up just 55.30 points or 0.11 percent.

TCS, Infosys, ITC, M&M and SBi were the top contributors to the index’s rise, while ICICI Bank, Reliance Industries, Hero MotoCorp, UltraTech Cements and Axis Bank dragged the index down.
