Check out the companies making headlines after the bell : Boeing — The airplane maker saw shares dropping nearly 2% in after-hours trading after the company released preliminary fourth-quarter financial results. The company said it expects to post a loss of $5.46 per share for the fourth quarter as the results were affected by a nearly two-month labor strike last year and other issues at the manufacturer. Texas Instruments — The semiconductor stock slipped more than 2% in extended trading after the firm issued a disappointing earnings forecast for the current quarter. Texas Instruments said profit will range from 94 cents to $1.16 a share, compared with an average estimate of $1.17 per share, according to LSEG. The company did beat on top and bottom lines for the last quarter, however. CSX — The transportation giant saw shares falling 2% in after-hours trading after the company reported a revenue miss. CSX reported revenue of $3.54 billion in the latest quarter, lower than the $3.58 billion expected by analysts polled by LESG. Intuitive Surgical — The medical device manufacturer’s stock dipped about 2% in extended trading even after the firm posted better-than-expected earnings and revenue for the last quarter. Intuitive reported adjusted earnings of $2.21 per share, 42 cents above an estimate from LSEG. East West Bancorp — Shares of the bank holding company lost 3%. Earnings for the fourth quarter came in at $2.10 per share, narrowly missing analysts’ expectations of $2.11 per share, per FactSet. Revenue topped expectations, however, landing at $675.8 million per share, while analysts polled by StreetAccount sought $659.1 million. Twilio — Shares of the cloud communications software maker surged more than 11% in extended trading after the firm issued a rosy profit forecast for the next few years at a Thursday investor event. The company also provided strong free cash flow guidance for 2025, with a revenue forecast that was in line with expectations.
