Sundaram Home Finance to raise over 6k cr in FY26 – ETCFO-OxBig News Network

Chennai: Sundaram Home Finance (SHF), a wholly owned subsidiary of Sundaram Finance, is planning to raise more than Rs 6,000 crore in the current fiscal of FY26. It is through a mix of refinance from NHB, bank debt, debentures and fixed deposits, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

It posted a 26% rise in net profit at Rs 71.6 crore in the quarter ended March 31, 2025 against Rs 56.8 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Disbursements for the full year ended March 31, 2025, went up 29% to Rs 6,517 crore as compared to Rs 5,039 crore registered in the same period previous year. The company’s Assets Under Management (AUM) stood at Rs 17,470 crore as on March 31, 2025.

D Lakshminarayanan, MD, SHF said, “In line with our growth strategy of penetrating deep into smaller towns, we focused on tier 2 and 3 towns for expansion last year. The emergence of small towns as an economic growth driver is throwing up a lot of new growth opportunities for us both in the prime home finance segment as well as the Emerging Business segment. We believe that the demand outlook remains positive in the real estate space, and we will continue to invest in branch expansion and people this year.”
