Supreme Court collegium recommends transfer of two Telangana HC judges-OxBig News Network

Supreme Court Collegium, headed by Chief Justice Sanjeev Khanna, had recommended transfer of two judges of Telangana High Court to other HCs.

Justices Perugu Sree Sudha and K. Surender of Telangana HC were recommended for transfer to the HCs of Karnataka and Madras respectively. The Union government is yet to approve these recommendations for transfer of the judges and notify the same.

The notification uploaded in the SC website stated that the recommendations for transfers were made to ‘infuse inclusivity and diversity at the high courts and to strengthen the quality of administration of justice.
