The period epic, which has taken audiences by storm, has recorded a staggering Rs 554.75 crore in India net collections, placing it above Ranbir Kapoor’sAnimal (Rs 553.87 crore) and Shah Rukh Khan’sPathaan (Rs 543.09 crore).

The film, which is based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, has struck a deep chord with audiences across the country.
